Hello Sir /Madam
I am so glad to came across this site, I was born and raised in Quickstep Northern St.Elizabeth I lived there from my childhood to my late 20s. This place is one of the quietest places in Jamaica, though it is far and remote, nested in the hills of the cockpit mountains away from the hustle and bustle of the cities in and around Jamaica, this place is blessed with the quietness and peace of mind, I loved this place dearly, you can meditate with a freeness and enjoy the tranquality and fresh air that is there to offer.
I am excited to hear of the happenings that will be taking place up there in the near future, I always thought that this place could bring foreign exchange to Jamaica and this community of a whole. There are so much to offer tourist and Jamaican visitors a like, I dont know much of Quickstep on a whole even though I was born there, but I believe it can, possible be a tourist attraction with those caves near by and a lot of bird watching in those hills where people can visit.
The cockpit mountains is the second waterbelt in Jamaica with the abundant rain fall up in those mountains and the misty foggy atmosphere.
Please keep me posted of all the development that will take place over there at Quickstep St.Elizabeth in the near future. That place will always be my home. I always visit Quickstep when ever I am in Ja. its my home I like the peace and quietness it has to offer.
Best Regards to you and please keep me update of what happening.
Ricky
