The Gumbay is the traditional Maroon Drum used in their ceremonies and in the January 6th celeebration. The makers of the drums are George Huggins and his son Tyrone. George has recently been awarded the Bronze Musgrave Medal by the institute of Jamaica for his work making the drums.

Breadfruit Culture is a relabeling of Jamaica. The Breadfruit is has a distictive, broad leaf, and plays an important role in the countryside culture of Jamaica.
