The Original Trails of the Maroons (OTM) is an eco-tourism, non-profit business, founded as a community development project in 2006, in Accompong-Town, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Because of the rugged nature of the product we are selling (the Cockpit Country), we cater to the eco-tourist; one who is inclined to physical exertion and the natural discomforts and pleasantries associated with outdoor adventure. These activities will include overnight and day hikes, in association, or in addition to bird watching or ecological research. There will also be opportunities for caving and swimming. Our peak season is in the winter months when the rainfall is lowest and the temperature is mild. |
