If you are one of the few self reliant travelers who do not fear the Jamaican people and their wonderful little island world and would like to travel in style using the Jamaican taxis, then this little page is being developed for you. Jamaica is a fun place to travel around and you will find that Jamaicans are some of the nicest, most outspoken bunch of people in the world. It is true that you will be seen as a tourist and yes, they will try to hustle money from you, but remember that their perceptions of white culture have been formed through a little interaction with the tourists they see sheltered within the all inclusive, coastline resorts. We are setting up this page so you will know the connections and fares of where you would like to go before you get in the taxi. When you get to the airport remember that airport employees will try to keep you from taking public and will try to arrange a charter taxi for you. Many of them have do not realize that you are there to enjoy the culture and see Jamaica for what it is, not what the Jamaican Tourist Board wants you to believe it is.The following files are in ready for download. Some taxi drivers will try to cheat you because they think that you have plenty of money and don’t care or know better. Show them the truth and they will respect you for it.
